A natural cleaner and disinfectant that you can make at home is a 1:1 solution of water and vinegar. If the unpleasant smell of vinegar bothers you, you can throw citrus peels into it, then the liquid will smell fresh and fruity.

Cleaning kitchen appliances

Kitchen appliances such as the refrigerator, stove, oven and dishwasher also need to be cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Ideally, the stove and oven should be cleaned after each use. In this way there will be no unsightly and harmful to health layer of burnt on fat.

The refrigerator should be cleaned once a week and defrosted about three times a year to get rid of all the dirt. If something in the fridge gets moldy, it is best to defrost it right away and clean it thoroughly. It’s also important to clean out your dishwasher from time to time as limescale, detergent build-up and food residue can build up. Cleaning products from the cult brand Finish are great for this. Moreover, using the whole series of products from one manufacturer increases their effectiveness and positively affects the life-span of the equipment.

To clean enameled gas stove you can use a cleaning milk for this type of surface, but with glass electric or induction stove, granules may scratch the surface. The most effective and versatile kitchen cleaner is dishwashing liquid. It is suitable for any surface, from the sink and kitchen faucet to stovetops and countertops.

Baking soda comes in handy for cleaning burnt pots and the stove. Boil baking soda and water in a pot for a few minutes and a paste made of baking soda and a toothbrush will work great on the stove. You can also use this paste to effectively clean the grout between tiles on the walls and floor

Finally, baking soda and vinegar is an effective way to clean pipes of any impurities. This method can be used prophylactically once a week to prevent drain blockage. To increase the effectiveness of this treatment, it is worth pouring boiling water down the drain at the end.
